TL Experience/ Learning

All of TL’s HIV and STI prevention and care activity occurred at site level across 10 provinces. We needed an M&E system that could bring that data to the national level for reporting and reflection and that could return information to field level to help improve practice.

Elements:

• Clear guidance – a comprehensive M&E Toolkit

• On-the-job training and coaching

• Intensive support each month to ensure that data was accurate and entered on time

• Reinforcement at each quarterly meeting

• Feeding back data and allowing people the chance to compare their site’s performance with others helped improve reporting
