Introduction
TL had activities underway in twenty sites across ten of PNG’s provinces. This required close management, supervision and coaching to ensure that interventions were delivered in a high-quality, consistent way across all sites. Managing a large full-time, part-time and volunteer workforce across a vast geographical area requires a set of systems and process that provide people with the structure and support they need in order to carry out good work.
TL developed a set of innovative tools and systems to bring their about. We provided weekly support through regional coordinators and local project officers; management the monthly distribution of cash to sites for implementation with minimal loss or fraud; quarterly staff workshops to ensure close contact with all staff; and systems that delivered good planning, timely implementation and accountable reporting.
