Sik Long Koap (Sexually transmissible infections)

Sik Long Koap is a training course that was developed to assist Field Officers and volunteers in leading their communities toward a sound understanding of HIV and STIs. 27 topics are covered – to be delivered in short sessions over a few months. A handbook for trainers was developed to help them to facilitate the training.

Some of the topics in the Training Guide:

• The three rules of HIV transmission

• Safe sex – using condoms

• HIV and STIs

• How to use a male condom properly
